madrid day 9

acabo de ver una pelicula tan intensa! i just finished watching the most intense movie--como agua para chocolate. it was so artistic. ayy el amor.
this morning we went to church, which was delightful. it was in english, but they slipped in and out of espanol. we will likely check out a different church next week, and go to el rastro afterward (the fabuloso flea market that they have in spain).
the highlight of the day was the hour run i went on in the middle of the afternoon. it was so great, and i was able to see the city in a different way... it felt so familiar.
afterward i came home and showered then jenny & i went off to see katy's house...the place she's staying is so different, as are the couple she's living with. it was interesting to see how much our experiences vary just based on the homestays. after a bit we came back for dinner with her and watched the movie. and here i am ready to start another week of escuela y aventuras.

...oh and today for lunch we had tostadas de ceviche. pero no tenian tostada de tortilla, era de pan. pero siempre era muy bueno.
